Claim for free house insulation grant - Child Tax Credit
From the 1st October 2018 the Government has removed any caps on your household’s income allowing almost everyone in the receipt of Child Tax Credit to claim free house insulation without delay – Claim now!
Child Tax Credit is normally £3300 per year (first child) and you may also receive Child/Disabled Child/Severely Disabled Child payments.
Please double check your benefits paperwork for Child Tax Credit before proceeding with free GBIS scheme 2025 as it may have been replaced with Universal Credit.

Child Benefit is normally £24 per week (eldest child) and £15.90 for each additional child. For GBIS the following table shows how much money you can earn in your household based on the number of children that you have.
